Dr. Nancy Brown

Early Childhood Expert; Board Member, NC Partnership for Children

Dr. Nancy Brown is a retired early childhood educator and active advocate for young children. Her experience in education includes teaching at the secondary, middle school, elementary and preschool levels, as well as higher education. She has served as administrator and consultant in the public and private sectors, and in non-profit and for-profit settings.

Her work as a volunteer includes serving on national and state boards, such as NAEYC and NCPC, and local boards like the Frankie Lemmon and Lucy Daniels Schools in Wake County.

She has dedicated much of her professional life to improving early childhood programs, and supporting parents
